We have been very fortunate with the recent run of decent winter weather. The superb quality of the images in the recent postings reflect this.
On Saturday I was grounded due to car maintenance activities and so on Sunday I thought I would get the cobwebs off the golf clubs and get a round in. I arrived at the course ready for action to discover that all the greens were off. Did not fancy smacking a ball around concrete like fairways to winter greens so it was an easy decision to put the clubs back into the shed and get off to the hills. Time was moving on so I opted for a close destination and headed back up Strath Vaich for the corbett Beinn a Chaisteil.

I arrived at the car park short of the Black bridge and got quickly organised. There was no wind, clear skies and snow on the ground. Perfect day for a nice outing. With hindsight I'm not sure that the bike was much of a help beyond the bridge at Lubriach due to the ice and snow.

The scenery and the conditions were were ideal and the experience was more enjoyable than putting on ice.

Enclosed a wee short video which is best watched in 720 HD or 1080 settings.

Cheers,
Kenny
