Posted: Thu Mar 10, 2016 10:06 pmGood views from the top. I like the snow and sunny blue sky combination but somehow sunlit snow with a darker background is even better. Good to read about someone's decision making in the face of doubt too, hunting about for a solution.

P.S. Physiotherapy worked for my sore neck / frozen shoulder problems but I suppose what works and whether it's a major problem is an individual thing.

- there have been some amazingly clear days recently. This is a very steep little hill: even after you get to the top, the normal traverse going the other way over Meall Reamhar to Creagan nan Saighead has some steep little ups and downs. Well done

Posted: Fri Mar 11, 2016 10:46 pmThat looks a challenging hill under snow and ice, with great views beautifully captured in your photos. Amazing weather once again. Well done for finding ways up and down the steep bits and not giving up - sounds like you got a fair bit of front-pointing practice in there! Nice one.

Stob a' Choin seems to bear a similar relationship to the Crianlarich hills as does Sgurr na Stri to the Cuillins: it's one of the best hills around because of the amazing views you get of the characterful mountains that surround it.
The conditions sound as if they were interesting! I notice no pics of the bit where you were front pointing on Creag nan Saighead....

but you're down, not sure it will have done much to help the neck/shoulder injury though, hope that clears up soon mate

I have done the walk today and found it quite hard for a Corbett.
I went a bit different at the start, after crossing the bridge I took a bees line for the summit and about half way up was on the ridge, but it did take longer than I expect, and no paths.
After finishing there was a crash before Callander and had to wait 2 hours in a traffic jam Car cramp, no good.
