Ah yes, no point in the torture of road walking if you have a bike

superb effort! great report and pics... Many moons ago myself and my brother had planned a trip over Fhionnlaidh To Bidean and Glencoe. After leaving the car at Glencoe ad setting over from car number tow in Glen Etive we realised the keys to car number one had been left in car number two  doh!! Still went up and over Fhionnlaidh and then onto Ulaidh (was an interesting route we chose between these two I seem to remember !!)...
However we certainly didn't get weather like you- great report

Just read your report on this, and it reminded me that I'd read it about 18 months ago (also Dooterbang's), and I think it may have been these reports that gave me the idea of doing this in the first place. So thanks for that!

dooterbang wrote:Like Rockhopper I never thought of adding the Corbett, I did have my bike ready though

I felt your pain describing the ascent up to Sgulaird! I remember it well, almost drained the life from me
And the walk out over the bog is horrid...but as you say, at that point in the day you don't care.

As above, just read your report on this, and was reminded I'd read it before...! Thanks for planting the seed!

My brother's favourite trick is to leave his walking boots behind!!! This can pose a challenge, especially if you have scrambling in mind!!!

PS I tried to look up your report, but couldn't find it (a wealth of other good stuff, though!) - presumably you didn't write it up...???

I don't think so somehow: the stages of your walk through Knoydart were pretty big as I recall... :)

Ahh, mid-March 2016… That was special.

Glad someone else is prone to the amazing-weather-induced silly grin. It strains my facial muscles though, having to smile all day, more so than the calfs etc that are actually doing all the work :?

But a 7 hour post-epic-walk drive?! That sounds like the hardest part of the day
