Parked up for 10am just off the A817 beside the gated entrace to the Luss Estate and reservoir. Started up the reservoir track with low cloud covering the hills.

Taking an anti-clockwise route, after a short distance we turned right heading East up the flanks of Auchengaich Hill to the bealach with Bein Tharsuinn. From the top of Tharsuinn, followed the fenceline to and over the summit of Beinn Chaorach. The fence was an excellent navigation aid descending back down to the glen.

Took an almost straight line from the fence across to the flanks of a'Mhanaich. We worked our way up using mini ramps and shallow gullies sloping diagonally up the hillside. It was then a short walk to our second and final summit of the day. It was then an easy walk along and down the Strone. Typically, this was when the sun burned through the cloud and for the first time we had blue skies all round. Before long we were back at the A817 and just a short walk back to the car.
