Walkhighlands

just done ben vane on sat was very quiet as I started at 8 am and got to top just about 11.30 nice time to open bottle of beer and have lunch. Unable to see much as was very cloudy just as well i forgot to bring camera also forgot spoon for yoguart .

Both times I've done Vane it the weather was good but the steep gradient was a pain in the ar$£. Good hill though. Nice job.

I actually like a steep gradient on ascent as it usually makes it much quicker to get to the summit - not keen on steep descents though as I usually find them scary!
