Wow - a lottery jackpot of a trip. Stunning stuff. :D Amazing views everywhere. Thanks for sharing! 8) :D

When was this? I'm presuming given the beautiful high pressure conditions and that double arc aurora that this was Tues 15th into Wed 16th March? Sooooo wish I could've had some midweek time off that week!

ABSOLUTELY STUNNING.

What a fabulous report, having done Alligin a few times, this report gives the walker an insight into what the Torridon area is really like, which is "no mean feat"
Almost every photograph I've managed to take just cant capture the magical presence of Torridon.
Books like Torridon by the late great Lea MacNally and Beinn Eighe the Mountain Above the Wood by J. Laughton Johnston and Mr Dick Balharry also do great justice to the wonderful, magical, ancient land of Torridon.

AND....what a video...WOW.

Love it.

Your report and photos are so good , especially with the extra dimension from the drone, that i passed the link onto a non-hillwalking friend saying that if that didnt get him hill walking then nothing ever will!
He had the same question as puzzled me.
Was someone with you or are you able to program the drone to circle you , to give the effect of someone else filming you?
