This is an old set of pictures from our Kinlochewe trip in April 2014. We left the cars in the car park at Incheril, and set off on the long approach walk. Soon we lost our first casualty, HalfManHalfTitanium, who was suffering severe knee pain. The remaining three of us pressed on, and got some scenic views:

Eventually we started the climb, and the views south opened up.

Soon another of our team turned back, and there were only two of us by the time we reached the lochan on the south ridge:

Here my last remaining companion decided to remain, but I was reluctant to turn back so made a quick dash for the summit, pausing to look back to the lochan:

It was windy but clear on the plateau, where I attempted a summit selfie:

The views over Loch Maree were spectacular

as was the view back to Kinlochewe

On reaching the summit, I attempted to create a full panorama, and later stitched these together. First and best, the view north over the Great Wilderness:

The view west over Loch Maree and out to sea:

And the view south over the trig point towards Beinn Eighe

Then I set off back to the lochan, and joined my last companion at the lochan for the long and tiring walk back to Incheril.
