Did these 2 last Sunday , althought the weather was dryish and cloud cover was low , the track up and down there was a bit of a boggy mess.

I was wondering if the new forestry road ( for logging ) would be an alternative route in and out. It seemed to go almost to the end of the forest and the start of the hill ?

Possibly worth considering (especially if wet weather) for anyone about to do these 2

Cheers
Ian

Going solo is nice though - alone with your thoughts. Unless of course one of them is the Inn Pinn.... :D

Did Mayer/Driesh,last Sunday (see my report 2 via corrie fee ),good path through forrest and up corrie fee,we bit sketchy over grass on ridge but easy going, good path onto Driesh from Mayer,if you follow the WH walk and turn round and go down Shank of Drumfollow very good path all the way back till you met the outward track back to the visitor centre, enjoy your day :)
