Forecast poor on the West coast so the route to the April WH meet in Gairloch was to be heading NE towards Tomintoul and this little Corbett. With the good possibility of a heavy downpour any minute this hill fitted the bill as I thought short and sweet and get off the hill before getting too wet. This indeed was very easy with total up and down inside two hours.

A good dry track awaits which gives easy and a very identifiable route to the summit cairn. An ideal wee hill to take the young ones up for an introduction to the hills

Hi David, bet that's a busy wee hill over the weekends. Was hoping to knock off at least one of the sub 2s across the road but the rain started so didn't bother, plenty other times will come to tackle them. Heading up to Tomintoul with the club in July can give you a shout if you want.

Hi mountainminx, a very easy hill with a good path/track all the way, pity about the rain otherwise I would have attempted the two sub 2s on the other side of the road, never mind heading up this way again first weekend in July as we are staying at Tomintoul so hope to pick up other Corbetts and maybe Grahams at that time. I see your from Banchory so not far from you if your interested I could PM you details nearer the time.
