With KW. Set off walking from the entrance to the fish farm at Selcoth at 8.10am. Clag was well down on hills and a brief clearing revealed quite a dusting of fresh snow up on Capel Fell.

Sequence of Donalds: Croft Head; Loch Fell; Wind Fell; Ettrick Pen; Capel Fell.

Clag started to clear a bit high on Croft Head, giving some brief views, and sun was almost out, but on summit it soon came in again and stayed that way until coming off the summit of Ettrick Pen, when it cleared completely and became a warm, sunny day.

All in all a very interesting walk with some surprisingly impressive scenery; well worth doing.
