The walk is as described but if you can't park in the layby the quarry mentioned is a lot further away. We did this in low cloud and drizzle so the view wasn't great. Easy enough for most people to walk though. I think we went back the wrong way as the final instructions weren't clear. We walked down close the waters edge. Nice wee walk to stretch the legs.
