The parking isn't bad. I parked at the spot suggested in the WH description. You could probably get 3 or 4 well parked beside the forestry gate. Although, there was an old beaten up caravn taking up some space when we were there, but I wouldn't imagine parking being an issue. If needed there is also some nearby roadside grass verges that you could use.

I followed the WH route from the North, which was mostly pathless. The only hint of path was between the two hills which made me think there is probably a more traditional route ascending from Loch Lochy in the South? Although in your report it doesn't look like there are any worn paths through the forestry?

Don't recall a path - think it was just a gap in the trees all the way up - slippery in places beside the burn and a steep sided corrie with some crags to avoid before getting to the bealach - cheers :)
