I walked this route on a Beautiful day at the end of May. I'd driven up from Cornwall to Climb Ben Nevis and needed a rest today.

The first section to the Fairy pools was very busy, there were people in flip flops, (not recommended), but the first section really is a picture perfect little tourist trap.

Alas I can't post Pictures I'm new. Which is a real shame. :(

The route up to the Coire is not the most exciting in the world, your too close to appreciate the mountains to your right. It's well worth it though when you reach the saddle and the Red Cuillins pop into view. I'd thoroughly recommend you carry on another few hundred yards up to the small cairn on top of Am Mam 407m. The 360 degree views from here were the best I experienced in 3 days of walking in Scotland. You can quite literally see most of Skye from this modest little hill.

I dropped down back on to the main path back to the car park and there was one last treat waiting just before the finish, on the right, is a delightful water fall.

This is a very modest walk but one of the most enjoyable I have done in years.

Just wish I could post up some pictures.
