I knew this was going to be a tough day out and I wasn't disappointed- it was bloody awful!!!

Fife Flyer and I took our bikes and I think its fair to say that I used mine for about 10% of the journey both in and out. It didn't help that I am completely useless at cycling and that I lost my front brake pad on the way in and that my chain came off on the way out!!! :( :( :(

What I would say, the hills themselves are a joy. We were bothy to bothy in 4.5 hours and that was us taking our time.

If I was doing it again, but I am truly not!, then I would just walk in, stay in the bothy the night before and then do the hills and walk back out. Or just do it as one long day, its completely doable even without a bike. :D :D
