Very warm....amazing views
Posted: Wed Jun 08, 2016 10:05 pma sunny day was forecast, so a pleasant drive down to Achlean in GlenFeshie brought the sun out - and it stayed out all day long!
The walk from Achlean up the Glen is superb; evidence of the winter storms can be seen, banks eroded, trees up rooted but on this day the sun and breeze brought out lovely memories.
Arriving at the start of the uphill landrover track at midday was not wise, it was hot and even after climbing up there was no cool breeze; still the path was straightforward - you can follow it almost to the summit cairn.
One small patch of snow on the top where the nicest water to drink from was
Came back by the same why, dont know why would have been better to come back via Carn Mor track but wanted a swim in the river which was amazing.
