Climbed from Glenmore Lodge on a warm sunny day. The walk up passed Lochan Uaine and into Abernethy Forest at 8:30am was magical, the green tinge to the water was particularly vibrant. The excellent path although long but with fairly gentle rises meant gaining height was easy.

Only the last steep rocky climb suggested that this hill may be a Munro. Gunner was feeling the heat and on the summit found a nice shaded spot between rocks.

After a short rest and a big drink we headed of back down to the car and a pint in Grantown.
