The drive from Fort William is a delight and can be followed by a visit to the Memorial to Charles, his monument and the Visitor Centre. It's an evokative spot.
An estate road leads to Glenfinnan Lodge and the bothy at Corryhully and I suppose you could cycle this far with ease, it's a pleasant walk though. The road becomes a rough track, fords a burn, dry footed on a glorious sunny day, and a little further on a path branches off to the left over a lesser top to Sgurr nan Coireachan. From here it's easy to follow the undulating ridge and a line of boundary fence posts to Sgurr Thuilm, the posts fail to bag the top though. A S and the SE ridge brings you down, over what could be some damp ground, to the Finnann and and the road you walked up. I had a super day, marred only by the rhoddedendrums an a bothy that could be treated with a bit more respect.
