Another amazing day in Glencoe, Aonach Eagach was the one walk we'd waited for so long to do because we had read too many story's and watched more than enough youtube videos about the dangers of doing it with snow and ice, so with the weather we've had lately it was a safe bet we could do the walk without any concerns of slipping on snow or ice.

The weather was as good as it gets, sunny with just enough of a breeze on the top to keep us cool. Alex, Johnny and I had our map downloaded from walkhighlands and set off from the car park. The weather had brought loads of walkers out all along the route we could see people, what an amazing walk with views second to none.

We stuck to the map we'd downloaded until we got to the summit of Sgorr nam Fiannaidh, on the summit we got to talking to another walker, he asked what way we were going back down when we told him we were heading for the Inn he said he'd be going straight off the summit down to the road as there was loose shale but then it was grass which wasn't too difficult with the current weather conditions, we had a look and noticed others already going down that way so we headed straight down, this almost halved the return walk back to the car park. It wasn't too bad going down because of the good conditions yesterday but in any other weather I wouldn't have considered it
