The joy of walking at the weekend means there's a good chance you may have some company on the hills- just not necessarily the hills and company you had originally planned. So the Glen Affric 3 with Gammy somehow became Beinn Fhada and A'Ghlas Beinn with Theresa, Geo and Alec or Mountain Thyme, Kojak and Rottiewalker as they are otherwise known. :D

Crackling paths all the way from the outdoor centre to both summits. The clag was kind enough to disappear while we sat stuffing our faces on Beinn Fhada and the views for the rest of the day were immense, although Geo said he could rival any view Scotland had to offer.

Our desire to get back to the car to meet Geo's stringent deadline saw us descending in a 'straight doon' fashion and into South East Asia. 6 feet ferns, streams, fences, steep banks, giant moss covered monsters and definite feeling of Vietkong watching our every move!

A tremendous day out and new bags of shite to plunder.

Big thanks to Theresa, Geo and Alec for an unforgettable day and double thanks to Alec for driving. XXX
