What better way to spend your day off than slip and slide on the lovely basalt rock of Sgurr Mhic Choinnich. I know there's loads of gabbro in there but I managed to miss it!
Despite the clag at 700m mark the weather was only briefly showery in parts.
The An Stac screes to ascend took about an hour and were a complete pain in the arse but to descend took only 10 minutes and were the best fun ever- loved it.
Managed to come home with a tonne of gabbro dust on my kit and leave behind a couple of inches of waterproof trousers- again!!
Big thanks to Steve for being excellent company and very very patient and telling me I wasn't rubbish!!!
