We were looking for a fairly quick route to fit into an afternoon excursion from Portree, and The Storr fit the bill perfectly. The clouds had lifted about the summit and rain stayed away, although the wind was near gale force on the summit. This kept us moving swiftly along. The WalkHighlands GPX route was very handy, although we stayed well west of the cliff edges on the descent due to the severe wind gusts. We even were able to collect one wayward walker and show him the descent route - thanks WalkHighlands!
