Walked from car park marked Blairfindy on Glenlivet Estate brochures and mentioned in part 5 of main walk to Carn Daimh and returned. Makes a good walk on its own.
As mentioned, bit boggy on Blainfindy muir once the trees are reached. Good all round view from top of Carn Daihm all across Glen Livet and Strathavon. Tomintoul and Tomnavoulin visible. Picture of Tomintoul included below.

Blooming heck, I saw your time of just 3 hours for doing The Spur, and thought you must have ran it!
