.........it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, but mostly it was the age of friendship and fun.

Thanks to my gorgeous darling pal Mountain Thyme I had a crazy epic day doing these amazing hills.

The weather and views were so much better than we were expecting and we certainly did appreciate them. Theresa's last visit here consisted of 14 hours in the **** rain with zero views, so she was as chuffed as I was with 360 degrees panoramas.

That being said, it was still a massive thing for Theresa to do and I did feel blessed that she gave up her time to get me to 281!

When we were back in our lovely room at the Aultguish drinking tea and eating squashed pieces at 1am I still couldn't believe that Fisherfields was finally conquered and I was totally euphoric! :D :D :D

Cheers Alan.

Legs were totally fine. I was expecting to be knackered on the walk out but my energy levels were still high. I was buzzing! I think a lot of it was due to nervous energy. Walking in the pitch dark makes you want to finish asap!!!

An unforgettable day Theresa for so many reasons. I mean where else would you meet a man practically stripped to the waist with a big hairy chist and amazing teeth at 11.30 at night in the middle of nowhere??? If ever I feel low in the future I'm going to remember us lying in our super comfy beds in our pjs still giggling about that epic madness. Aultguish roolz!
