W Isles family campervan trip
on arrival on Harris on early morning ferry from Berneray,
afternoon climb, 12.00 to 2.30pm, dropped off at high point on A859 between 2 lochans
1h 15 min to clagged summit ring shelter around trig
blether to 2 guys from aberdeen and couple from Peebles (5 trips to S Kilda) who we met next day on gold road at Skoon art cafe
path on steeper section and quick descent to layby loop just as Lorna/Ewan arrived.
No views unfortunately, cloud from 500m. Head back to Horgabost campsite, Ewans choice by beach with portakabin facilities.
