With the fair weather continuing, i opted for a change of scenery and headed up to Glen Coe with my son Darren to do Meall a' Bhuiridh and Creise. This turned out to be an easy walk, even given you head 750m virtually straight up from the ski centre.

Terminator skiier at the start!!!
As the path was dry, good time was made heading up.

Route up.
It wasn't long before Creise & Stob Dearg were in view.

As we hit the top ski tow, Clac Leathad, the old Munro summit, was there to greet us 8)

Another 20m and we were on Meall a' Bhuiridh.

The views south, though a little hazy were quite impressive

Loch Tulla & Orchy hills.
as they were looking East.

Across Rannoch Moor to Schiehallion.
We had lunch here as Darren likes to eat every 2-3 hours  before heading for the traverse to Creise.

Clac Leathad to Creise.
It's a little loose under foot going down to the bealach but nothing too trying

Over Loch an Easain to Orchy hills.
Just after taking this photo, a small herd of deer went for a bathe in the loch, but too far away to get a decent photo :(

To Clac Leathad from the bealach.
We continued on up to the crest before turning left for Clac Leathad. There was a few people followed us across here, none of which went to this summit, always surprises me that people ignore hills

From the exit of the bealach, Creise to Meall a' Bhuiridh.
The views from here are stunning, it was just a shame there was a slight haze. Ah well, you can't have it all

North from Clac Leathad.
From here, it's only a 15 minute walk over to the summit of Criese as you only have to climb 28m back up

Stob Dearg with Ben Nevis clear of cloud beyond.
As i had opted for the easy route today, the only way back is retracing your steps, which is a bit of a bummer  and so we headed back over Meall a' Bhuiridh and back down the ski run.

All in all it was a decent day out, weather stayed warm all round, views were fantastic, what more could you ask for!!

Stupid question. Is the WH route obvious from the car park?

Missed this first time round - you certainly picked a great day for it. The ridge over to Creise always seem to look a bit daunting but straightforward once on it - cheers :)

At one point the GPS route takes you up a path which is now a downhill mountain bike track! Fortunately, I spotted the signs just before three riders came hurtling down. It could have been better signposted - still not entirely sure where I missed the new path.

Thoroughly enjoyed these two when we did them recently but have to confess we didn't turn left to include Clach Leathad either! :? We did however walk on past the Creise summit towards Sron na Creise to get the views from there.

You've nailed why I was asking. I don't want to end up doing the exact thing you are describing.
I checked their website, no detailed maps of the centre or any walking info on it at all.
