With clouds hiding the top 100m we had hoped it might clear as we climbed but it didn't. Instead it rained, but not too hard though the stream crossing on the way up which involved two boulders found one underwater on the way back with the other soon to follow. The stalker on his ATV with two guests and a stag stopped for a chat when he overtook us as we descended. Later he passed us again on the narrow overgrown part of the forest track just before we reached his pickup. An offer of a lift was made and gratefully accepted saving us about 2.7km.
