This is walk 2 of Glenlivet Esatate brochure. Park car at Escemulloch farm car park. This is on minor road through Chapeltown past distillery. There is an information board and route map.
Farm road to Scalan. The seminary has a public toilet. Continue along track to Clach of Scalan ruin. Walk up hill following route markers, path is not very clear. Meet up with a well used grouse shooting track to the top of Tom Trumpet. Good views across the braes of Glen Livet.
Return down the track and continue straight back to Scalan, following fence.
