With all the good weather that we were getting I texted my friend to see if he was off work and fancied going for a walk. I was not very hopefully as he never gets days off at the same time as me, a miracle, he was off. This walk was meant to be.

We decide on the Glas Maol Munros circuit with the route taken straight from walkhighlands. We never did much research and were gutted when we caught up with 2 elderly gentlemen just after Carn an Tuirc who told us that doing the 6 Munros were just as easy.

The walk starts through what was meant to be a very boggy area but the sun had dried most of it up so we had it good. There is a slight steep bit to Carn an Tuirc, we are climbing Munros here so it is to expected. After completing the first Munro the walk is very easy with some stunning views. The second, Third and Forth Munros come very quickly.

After the fourth and final Munro (Creag Leacach) we both commented on how easy it had been. We considered going back the way we had came over the 3 Munros again. The weather looked like it was coming in so we decided to take the sensible and less interesting route down the track from Glas Maol which was ugly with the ski slopes and then there should have been a long trek down the tarmac road. We got lucky though and managed to flag down a lift just at the bottom of the track.
