Sorry I thought I'd already replied to this but looking at it again I see I didn't. If you're only doing Stob Ban and return the way you go up you can avoid the scree so don't worry about it. I'm not a lover of descending scree either! 8)

Fabulous. Brings back very fond memories of my own meeting with the Wee Meenister about 6 weeks prior to your meeting. :D
