After nearly 2 weeks of not doing any walking due to having the flu, we decided to go on an easy stroll to get us into the swing of it again. We got to Braemar around 4:30pm and spent some time with the ducks at the pond, who actually came up to us as we sat on the bench. We then headed off on the walk, and straight uphill, prompting Kamila to whinge that she wanted a flat walk!!
We got to the top of the short climb and it flattened out, with wonderful views all the way across to Derry Cairngorm. Cue photo taking. We entered the fenced off area and once through that, we got a superb view of Braemar. Cue photo taking again. Heading along the side of the forest, we headed back through the heather and towards the duck pond again, where the ducks came out of the water to greet us. We sat there again with the ducks, watching 2 paragliders fly around Morrone.
On the way home, we passed Pressendye and decided thats what we will climb next, once we get a bit fitter again.
