The wee one loves her scrambling it would seem, Petr. Some fabulous photographs for the family album.

Brilliant. She's a mountaineer in the making. Doesn't that coat look good with the heather? Brings back memories: I had a day off from child-minding in the early '70s, looked round and found that "child" (aged 5) had persuaded her dad to follow me up the Lost Valley.

Lovely! This is the next generation of hill lovers. I'm now wishing I started earlier with my grandsons!

A fair bit of scrambling practice for a 4 year old on this path. Each time I've been up it has struck me how nimble the cattle must have been back in the day when the MacDonalds hid them up there!

Hi Petr. Fantastic pictures

I am very interested in talking my son on this route. He is 3 and a half. I was kind of put off by some of the reports mentioning the rocky bit but these pictures and your daughter being around the same age has made me think again

the rocky climb with the bolted cables on the right looks a bit tricky, was it relatively easy and safe when you done it? and is the route easy enough for a child in general? He loves scrambling and has done a few smaller hills like conic already
