Video Movie...The Mountain Spirit of Grey Corries:
The Grey Corries was on my to-do list for this year, waiting patiently for the right day as I wanted some views from this mountains ( ok, patience is not my best friend so I did some other mountains meanwhile ), but the weather there was mostly the worse from whole Scotland in my free days and if not rain finally then the visibility kept poor...very poor or moderate so I kept waiting for this area and conquering the other hills until the weather forecast showed me this:
With this view on my computer, I started prepare all my mountain stuff in the night as I did not want to miss the opportunity because the end of year is almost here ! Checked and compared the forecast again with another two sources I was looking forward to see the Gre (at) y Corries
The night gave me a nice bonus - another extra hour - changing of time - summer time end, which means longer night, daylight one hour earlier...but also the fact that darkness will come earlier for the one hour
The road was quiet in the morning ( not surprise on sunday ), enjoyed the driving, listening music and thinking about a lot of things...still darkness so I hoped the forecast was right about the visibility.
Arriving in Spean Bridge the daylight started...it was wet conditions after some rain showers when I got to the start point.......
The report continues in the post below...
