The Paths 4 All walking group had decided they wanted to have a bus trip to Callander for a low level flat walk so it was all a board the Fisher tour bus heading to the main Bus Park in Callander and the pre-ordered bacon rolls tea and coffee and with tables set ready for the group when they arrived at the Old Bank restaurant. it was a quick in and out then head off to the Meadows car parking area where the walk starts. The walk takes you on the line of what used to be the old Callander to Oban railway track which passes through some beautiful tree lines stretches with glimpses of Ben Ledi and the Callander Crags above Callander village, it also passes a site of an old Roman fort all in all a wonderful setting on such a fine day. We were to be treated to glimpses of a buzzard a drone in action and also some relics of the old railway en route.

This walk is along the old former railway line from Callander to Oba built in 1865 and finished in 1880 and was later closed in 1965 after a serious landslide (Now part of the Rob Roy Way) I think this may have been added at a later date.
