A couple of days out on the snow.

A short half day in Glen Feshie using my favourite path to reach the higher ground.

The path starting close to the turn off to Balnascriten.

Although the tree-grabbing machines have basically knocked it apart in the lower stages a bit of perseverance will get you through to the higher stages that were not affected..

At the wee lochan the path becomes as it has always been....well apart from a bit of underuse.

Onto Ghiuthsachan which is a fine viewing platform.

Good outlook to the higher Sgorans and in many other directions.

The following day I started out from the Chuaich hamlet and followed the canal to get to the march between Chuaich and Drumochter. Fine outlook towards Ben Alder.

Fairly heavy going through the breakable crust and even on the flat area towards Carn na Caim difficult plodding through the sastrugi.....the rewards of the views out to the West were to be savoured.

I returned to the lower ground by the broad ridge between Coires Cam and Chais with a fine look into the fierce looking Chais.
