This is a continuation of my walk report for The Brack. On the way back we used the shore and riverside path which forms most of the walkhighlands Ardgartan circuit. Here's the route map of our whole day:
Picking up from the part along Loch Long:
The lochside part was pleasant enough, but the highlight today was the riverside section afterwards, still with lovely autumn colours.
A great way back from The Brack, or a nice short walk in itself.

Warning Please note that hillwalking when there is snow lying requires an ice-axe, crampons and the knowledge, experience and skill to use them correctly. Summer routes may not be viable or appropriate in winter. See winter information on our skills and safety pages for more information.
