John and I Hogmanay hill walk
1045 to 1345
OBC picked me up 7.45am and breakfast at Ballinluig
easy drive up A9 to opposite Aviemore turn off
wet and windy just the way we like it...
superb track to cairn at high point on Burma road through route
wee stop for oatcakes, grapes and cheese
easy ascent to trig and shelter cairn - decent break with flask
clag just about around, then quick descent - met walker from Stow chatted on way down
home just after 4pm - Lorna, Ewan, Doreen and Arthur - wee van trip to N Queensferry
