Starting from Tarbet, Ballyhennan Crescent crossed road to join the Three Lochs Way. It was very icy underfoot particularly on the road.
Walked towards Arrochar, a beautiful sunny winter's day, with great views of the Arrochar Alps. We reached a signpost above the Church in Arrochar and we cut down off the main trail, through a small tunnel under the railway (mind yer heid!) and down into the village.
Walked along the front, some nice wee cafes towards the junction of the A814 and A83 then onto the Ben Arthur Bothy pub and crossed the main road.
There is another signpost at the small Jubilee Well that takes you back up to the main trail, take the right hand path (signed Tairbet Station) and follow path back to Loch Lomond through a lovely old wood.
Eventually you will see a carved head and then you take the right hand path down towards the train station, head under the tunnel and follow road downhill back to Tarbet.
