"Many rivers to cross"
Happy new year and my first munro this year.
Kept putting beinn mhanach off, probably due to all the river crossings.
I shouldn't have put it off as today I enjoyed it.
14 ford's 7 inward and 7 out.
Some quite deep, some not. Glad I went this way though as I'd read that some go over the 2 corbetts.
Great day though, no rain no wind. Just a tad snow dotted about.
Lot of fog as was predictted so a couple of intermittent views here and there.
What made today though was the view up to beinn an dothaidh on the way back. It looked fantastic. All I remember was getting soaked and bog hopping all the way to the summit cairns.
Always good to see different views of the mountains/hills.
Won't go on about the route as I went the WH route in (and basically the same on the outward)
Wee bit steep when you leave the track but nothing major and no major obstacles en route.
Cap doffed to Beinn Mhanach
Cheers

And I thought you'd be "seeing clearly now"...

Oh, rather than parking your car on the A82 bit of dirt, there is space for a car maybe 2 just as you head down the glen (before the sign saying "private road").
As has been said before. If you do park on the A82 , tuck your wing mirror in and be careful. Those artics are quick along that stretch.
