Great weather for our 48 year of being married. We had done a shorter coastal walk to some standing stones overlooking Llandudno on the previous day.
We just wanted to enjoy a short outing. We set out from the A5 across wet ground, but good path. We were going to do a round with the tops on the other side of the reservoir. It was wet underfoot, particularly on the way back. However the visibility was some of the best we have seen here.
Good views from summit
After the summit we realised we might not have enough daylight to do the ridge the other side. So we decided to come back along the reservoir & here we did make one bad move in that we attempted a short cut down to the reservoir instead of following the path out to the lower ground, it was quite difficult.
We got back before the daylight failed. Brilliant views.
