All things considered, this was a good fun route - one I can envisage myself enjoying on a long summer's evening after work. Today, however, was rainy, foggy, snowy, cold and there were no views to enjoy! That said, it was a good challenge to ascend with the wind in my face. It was also my first wee go at crossing some stretches of snow. Worth it for these challenges, and it's another wee solo adventure to chalk up on my list! I was glad to get a sandwich and thaw a little in the tearoom at the end (their peppermint slice is to die for). I'd recommend this walk if you want a challenge, but are still working on your fitness. Just wait for slightly better weather!

sounded like you had a lot more fun than I did today - staying at home to organise car insurance and a replacement boiler didn't really have quite the same appeal  - cheers :)
