I spend most of my time hanging around outside Scotland, so know what you mean. Thank you.

It was one of my best but hardest days on the hills.Had planned to do the Corbett also which was a munro at the time but was too tired at the summit of Sgurr Ban. It was May and summer conditions. Two weeks later we went back and did the Corbett on its own in poor winter like conditions. We met three guys at Shenvall on the way out. They had been holed up in the bothy for a few days hopping to get a break to do the six
.It wasn't going to happen.
The slabs are brilliant walking in dry conditions and a fantastic setting.
Cheers
Thanks. Going back to walk the slabs is definitely something that appeals. Think I could get a mountain bike a bit further than the lodge, but some of the going would be either rough or shingly even before there.
A chap we bumped into as we started walking in didn’t know about the “demotion” of Chlaidheimh, but having turned back after Sgurr Ban due to the slippery slabs and a lack of winter gear, was pleased to hear he hadn’t missed a Munro.

Amazing area, even more magical under snow. Even your more modest pair looked impressive. Thanks.
