A beautiful sunny day with no wind, a little hazy but excellent views over the Borders' hills, Lake District and I think Pennines/ Cheviot?
Saw sheep, goats, buzzards, skylarks, a bumble bee and grouse. Saw 2 planes, one looked like a big Lancaster bomber down in the glen, cool to see it flying below me. Some patchy snow. Boggy and tussocks going over to Cape Law, tough going but fortunately not too far! Nice going over the ridge at Saddle Yoke and impressive gorge at Hang Gill. Great walk with fantastic weather :)
