Ben Lui

I was staying in Tyndrum earlier this month, there's plenty of choice of hills to go at there but Ben Lui was pretty high on my "to do"list.
It is quite a long way in (I biked it), but the track alongside the River Cononish is a fine approach to the mountain. follow the right bank of Allt Coire Laoigh and ascend to the saddle between Ben Oss and Ben Lui (from where you can easily reach both summits). I went up to Ben Lui first (glad that I did as the clouds soon closed in), and was rewarded with amazing views from the top of this magnificent mountain - I was even lucky enough to see my first ever Brocken Spectre.
Returned to the saddle and went up to Ben Oss in the clouds, then descended via the same route to Cononish.
