Beautiful day for a walk! Very slow due to our 3 year old son Jamie who walks at around a mile an hour (and 6 month old baby in a backpack!). We all really enjoyed this walk, which has a long ridge with outstanding views throughout. The ascent was pretty easy, and scrambly so was fun for our son, who did a great job.
The way back along the base of the ridge felt long, but was beautiful and peaceful. Tea room to stop at en route, near the end.
Would definitely recommend this route for young children. Mini mountain atmosphere, but safe with no big drops or scary scrambles!

Yes that's a lovely walk, and quite a challenge for a 3-year-old I would imagine - well done Jamie!

I've yet to go in that tea shop, keep meaning to.
