This was a beautiful day in the North West Lakes. The walk was in a group so I followed whilst they led - though I do prefer to plan my own days on the hills. Nevertheless it was good company and some great views. Scotland is my usual destination so I'm quite new to walking in the Lakes despite its proximity to Merseyside.

The sun shimmering on Crummock Water was one of the sights of the day.

Nice round that, especially taking in the full ridge over Scar Crags and Causey Pike, rather than cutting left for Outerside which is the usual Coledale round. Nice day for it too as your pics show. :)
