I know this is supposed to be WALKhighlands, but I had a wee run up Ben Lomond last week after work, and felt I had to share some of these pictures, taken on no less than my iphone. The freezing headwind (lesson - never wear shorts) was worth the golden-hour views and the cloud eclipse. A very lucky boy!

Nice one Ross. It was indeed a magical evening, although I guess you had the better sunset as I was on the summit 15 minutes before you.!

Cheers dude! Got lucky with the sunset at the top - unreal. Made up for the near-cardiac-arrest on the way up!

Acht I dunno man, you got some pretty special pictures there too. That wind was so brutal.
Good to know there is another runner on WH, and it isn't cheating to post a report if you ran it!
Maybe we should start a splinter group - runhighlands?
