A wet and misty walk up Beinn Teallach. Everything was soaking including me. On the Forestry track at the start of the walk I was a well made cairn at the side of the path which looked like a tempting shortcut, took three steps and ended with my right leg in mud up to my thigh!

Added to the dampness quotiant twenty minutes later when I dropped a foot into a hidden burn, and yes it was my remaining dry foot. Despite the rain and the muck it was one of those days when you have a sense of privilege just being out in the mountains. A good day.
