Route description: Gaick Corbetts: An Dun and Meall Creag an Loch

John and Jamie, glen Tromie wild camp weekend at Bhran cottage
1000 to 1900 (cycle 1000 to 1130 and 1800 to 1900)
20km cycle in and out from Bhran cottage
0800 rise and feel rested. Set off on bikes. Tough cycle into wind, uphill past dam (end of tar), loch,Gaick lodge,ford to end Loch Bhrodainn. JC 1.5hrs cycle to here, break and water stop at burn Allt a'Chaoirnich. Steep ascent with break on crest, summit 1.5hrs and chase 2 walkers spotted on lower summit. Lunch on shores Loch an Duin @2.30pm. 3pm steep ascent and find joyous path, 4pm on 2nd summit. Views superb down glen. head off nose and shocked to meet hillrunner, no stalkers path after all and runner passes me when I'm crossing river - impressive fitness.
6pm back on bikes - superb, sunny, speedy descent - wait at strategic points - no abandonating today!
7pm back at camp, Jamie already packed up, welcome beer and pack panniers for speedy 25min descent to car by 8pm.
8.40pm sitting in Joes chippy at Kingussie. 2330 Ratho, 2355 JCs, 0030 home unpacked.
