This walk ticked off Lachie and my 2nd and 3rd Munros. We were also joined by David and Matthew.

We set off from Loch Earn and walked 3 km up to the ridge of Ben Vorlich and camped off the path and cooked up supper with cracking views back down the valley. The next morning, after a warming bowl of porridge and waffles, we set off up Ben Vorlich and reached the top by 9:30am. Cloud base was low so no views. Heading west along the ridge towards Stuc a Chroin we then reached the steep face (a bit daunting  )

We scrambled up to the top of the face and along the ridge for our second Munro of the day. We came back to the camp around the Coire Buidhe and packed up and headed back down.

Great achievement by the boys! Looking forward to the next one.
