A good day's walk

A good day's walk!

This walk with the two Munro's is a good day's walk. With a semi-solid overcast and a nice breeze from the North, it was a clear day and we have enjoyed views to all sides along the route.
I expected the walk to be much of the same, since there's only grassy hills all around you. But...I was surprised it has enough variety to enjoy it all the way!

With a pretty fast ascend on a grassy hill to get to Beinn Eunaich, we were surprised by the pretty views north to Loch Etive and the Glen Noe area. After the photos and some food we descended the pretty steep and rocky north side of this hill to walk over the ridge to Beinn a'Chochuill. This was pretty easy, especially compared to the steeper descent we did. Walking up to the top we were excited for the views there...but once at the very top the clouds decided to get a bit lower and covered us in a solid whiteness on all sides.
Going down the top and descending on the grassy ridge south was very demanding. It was steep and our legs didn't work as well as at the start of course. So, we took it a bit slower and enjoyed the views over the Glen towards Lochawe and Kilchurn Castle.
It's a beautiful walk, demanding but not extremely, the views are really stunning (with clear weather of course) and it has enough variety to enjoy the whole route.
